What Signal Stack means by Outside Signal
An Outside Signal is a horse that is not the obvious center of the race, but has enough supporting evidence to deserve attention. It is not a blind longshot label.
Outside does not mean random
A random price horse is just noise. An Outside Signal has some reason to be respected: race shape, surface fit, track pattern, current support, contest usefulness, or a profile that protects against the main opinion being too narrow.
Why outside horses matter
Many horseplayers lose discipline by either ignoring every outside horse or chasing too many of them. Signal Stack tries to separate useful outside pressure from unsupported noise.
How the public card shows it
The public card may label the outside signal as soft confirmation, outside respect, or no meaningful outside pressure. That keeps the language useful without publishing the exact trigger rules behind the label.
Contest use versus win-bet use
An Outside Signal can matter more in contest play than in a straight win-bet decision. A horse may be a useful second-entry or protection horse even when the Primary remains the cleaner win opinion.
